Does anyone know when this is drawn, as time is moving on for getting travel sorted - especially for Autumn internationals.
I appreciate the Ticket Office can probably tell me but wondered if anyone had been contacted.
Thanks

Nope. No update, no news.

It would be handy only a month away from the first set of internationals if the club advised when the ballot takes place.

Inevitably, transport and accommodation availability and costs rise the closer to the event any announcement is made.

Some season ticket holders may have chosen not to buy a season ticket, it is an incentive to buy as promoted by the club, or not enter the ballot if the ballot was going to be so late in being communicated.

Itís disappointing and the club should have managed this better, especially when they are getting so much other stuff right. Itís poor PR.

I would have thought that the new GDPR rules might preclude them from announcing the names in the way they have done previously.

They could state that the draw has been made and the club has contacted the right people

Spoke to Ticket Office yesterday. They advised the Autumn International ballot had been done, and those selected had been contacted via email or phone. Just seems strange no-one has mentioned being selected given there's 4 matches on offer.

Thanks zackary

GDPR rules aside, as Aidan mentions, an early, or any, announcement the ballot had taken place would avoid any speculation how the ballot had been conducted.

Iím sure everyone had an equal chance and the ballot was scrupulously fair.

Hi, the draw has been made but the reason we haven't said so is because we believe we're going to get some extra tickets in the next day or so, meaning we can hopefully accommodate even more supporters. Once we have a definitive answer on this and when the potential extra draw has been made, we'll let you all know.

This isn't a process I'm personally involved in so you're best directing your questions at the relevant department, but I've been asked to pass on the message explaining why we haven't yet communicated the fact that the initial draw has taken place.

This is of course one of the many benefits of season ticket membership, and something that not many professional clubs do.

Cheers
Smithy
