I agree. This looks more winnable than it did last season or the season before. Wasps seem more vulnerable but they will have been stung by their loss to the Tigers.

Marcus Watson scored a cracking try from a loose kick last week so we need to be careful when we're kicking

Can't see Bristol or Worcester getting anything this weekend so massive opportunity for us then something has to give between them in the next round of fixtures and hopefully we can edge Sale at Sid James Park.

he really did show all his gold for that try but the winger should easily have stopped him but instead accompanied him to the line

I really like David Wilson but this could mean Rodney is in with a chance of getting on the pitch.

Please don't let this turn into a slagging match for David Wilson

Ah You can make it debut in the Geet Massive One in a couple of weeks and smash it with some big carries as part of a great display of running rugby gaining us a huge 5 point win!

I was going to give bet365 a tenner on Falcons but as I want your lot to win decided not to jinx you and kept my tenner in my pocket. Rock the Ricoh Falcons!

thumbs down

Not taking anything for granted, far from it, but whereas once upon a time a trip to Wasps was a grim thought, thereís absolutely no reason we canít get a win tomorrow. Uncle Dai is on a downer with referees which normally means his team is grossly underperforming.

Welch taken off after 16 minutes. Story of our season, we must have the worst injury record this season.

We are competing well. Defence, discipline and line out good so far.

Wasps are looking lively and could have a try or two in them but we are looking sharp, defence solid and we could have had a try of our own just stopped 1 metre from their try line.

Pretty sure the Wasps fans may feel a bit hard done by but for us that was a massive result and hopefully they can grudgingly be happy for us.
Our never say die attitude is one to be envied. Poor old Flood was man of the match last week but made a few errors this week, but canít take anything from any of the lads. I should imagine Worcester fans will have a nervous few weeks ahead.

Great win by the boys. The control and speed of the last passage of play was brilliant. Perfect accuracy and eventually rewarded.
Back play so so so much better, Flood another good game, Hammer was excellent. The Matavesi-Williams centre partnership is very exciting. Who does Goneva come in for? Kibirige is making himself undroppable, but Sinoti can perform magic!

Falcons better get out there the next 2 weeks, lets get as many as possible in SJP for a key match.

Yes it is going to the wire.

We will, however, take that penalty because we have had some awful decisions and luck go against us this season. The old saying of swings and roundabouts applies here.

Was he lying on the tackled player? Debatable!
Was he slowing the ball down whilst off his feet? Yes !

Should it have been a penalty? For us Falcons fans, yes.

Not just me then! I watched them tackle, slide round & compete for the ball without getting pinged for it. Ireland too are pretty adept at it

Come on BL, you know how it works. Warriors Wotsit is fully qualified to declare with utmost certainty that any decision that does not favour Warriors in any way must be incorrect. This is balanced out by the undeniable fact that we are equally as well qualified to rule that any decision that rules in favour of Newcastle Falcons is completely fair, justified, correct in every way, and the referee should be considered for some sort of nationally recognised award.
