What changes would you make?
Personally I felt it was quite an encouraging performance.
Disappointments for me were Moody looking a little rusty and weary - but then, so soon after his eye injury, it's a bit of a miracle he was even on the pitch, so perfectly happy to give him more time - hate to say it, but Fourie looked good for his cameo too.
Beyond that, 3 glaring weaknesses in the backs, Hape, Tindall and Cueto simply don't look international quality to me, but there's no way I'd replace all 3 in one go. I see Hape as essentially Flutey's back-up, so am happy to continue the experiment (added to which, I'm happy to cut a little slack as it's new patterns and partners etc), but Tin.s and Cueto... I probably wouldn't replace both at the same time, so it's a case of alternatives; there aren't really any I'd trust at OC (Clarke's my bet, but he's outside the EPS, and not exactly setting the AP alight, Tait's fallen from grace, Lowe is going great guns, but still learning the ropes at AP level, Waldoukc seems short of form and which centre berth should he really take? and that's about it really) whereas there are several better options available to put on the wing. Banahan is short of form (and I'm still sure is carrying an injury of some description), but Strettle/Sinbad are fine, and either would be a massive improvement from Cueto, personally I'd go with JSD, but it's need some EPS tinkering, so Strettle it'd probably have to be.
Keep the centre pairing for now, but if they fail to show improvement it might be time to try someone else off for 30-40 minutes against Samoa, with a promise of a start if they show well (of the EPS options, It'd have to be Waldouck presumably)
