For arranging lift shares, meeting up for trains and generally getting Wasps to matches. Any travel advice, parking tips etc welcome. Another wonderful service for all Waspies to use. Sharing makes sense! Since the move to play @RicohArena, Wasps RFC recommends using the @LiftShare for rugby car scheme. There is another alternative founded by a Wasps FC member, Tony Lynch, that you may also wish to investigate called Faxi (@Faxijourneys).

Hello

Going to Northampton on Saturday to watch the LV Cup game. First time I've been to Franklin Gardens any suggestion as to where is a good place to park?

Cheers

Peter

Your best option is to park in the Official car parks to the rear of the ground - coming off the M1 at Junction 15a ( or up the A43 ) - head towards Northampton. You will see the Cobblers footy ground and several Brown Information signs - follow the Rugby ball.. Park near an exit if you want to make a quick exit after the game..The Car Parks never get full so plenty of space. Avoid street parking around the ground - you will get a ticket.. Some people park up at Sixfields which is a short walk down to the ground.. safe journey.

Beware Sixfields parking as well, as the Cobblers are also playing at home at 3pm on Saturday.

The businesses that are served by each car park have their own rules and some (e.g. the cinema and bowling alley) will ticket you unless you can prove that you were using their facilities.

Thanks for the warning. Think I may park in town and walk, so allowing an easier get away
