Bristol v Worcester. Sky Sports 3. KO 7.45

First leg of the Championship Playoff.

I'd like to see us testing Tom's defence in the Prem next season.

Damn right. I really want him to get that record.

I know for TV's sake it would be great to have Bristol in the Prem. but part of me would quite like to see them not promoted with their big money backer and all the money they are spending. Worcester seems to me a more likeable business model and club. Ultimately a Premiership with a strong Bristol would be good thing but I also think Worcester bring a lot to the league and another local rivalry for Wasps.

Worcester is also a nice stadium to watch Wasps play smiling smiley

The only downside with Wuzz is their RFU area covering and in particular "The Street"

I appreciate what BdeB means about Bristol's 'Sugar Daddy' model but looking down the teams, Worcester have a similar squad in terms of experience. I must confess that I haven't really taken account of who Bristol are bringing in for next season (apart from one particular winger!). We do need the team that comes up to be competitive as another debacle like London Welsh this season will mean that the money men will add weight to their ring fencing argument.

I recognise that playing styles change with coaches and players but one of my worst recollections of watching a game at AP was against Worcester. 3 - 3 draw, I believe. I'm sure someone will correct me is I am wrong but if that wasn't the score, it certainly felt like it.

You can see why there are so many calling to increase the prem to include both these sides and carnegie.

Carnegie would struggle a little though would get there in time and produce great youth. These two sides have so much talent. 3 British lions, and capped England and wallaby internationals plus arguably one of the best hookers in the world. Plus the other internationals. Incredible for a championship game.

I want to see bristol purely because I want to see what Matthew Morgan can do in the premiership. I just think he is the kind of bums off seats player that increases crowds and overall league excitement. Plus I want tom to get the 100 try Mark which probably needs two decent prem seasons.

Briz for me as it's a fairly close away day and if Wuz don't make it would Pennell become available??

interested to see ryan mills as well - heard we were after him but last season i think. Struggled with injuries but seems to be stringing games together again

Well Pennell hasn't made the 50 man WC squad, so while his loyalty to Wuss is to be applauded, can't help thinking he's more than good enough to have got in there had he been playing in the Prem. May well make him reassess his options if they don't make it and would be delighted to see him at Wasps.

Would also love to take Creevy off Wuss if they dont get up.

Yeah I remember that, wasn't it a new years fixture in the Tony Hanks era?

Yup, Cheering for Bristol to get promoted. Let's see TV2 get the Prem Try Record next season (just not too many against us!)

I can walk from home to Ashton Gate in just over an hour. It would take me 20 hours non stop to walk to Sixways.

C'mon Bris!

Briz stand some chance with Robinson on the bench and not playing, he was shocking in last seasons final's games.

We lost 0-6 to them in Jan 2012 I thought. I remember it was awful.

If it's the game I'm thinking about, I struggled over through the Friday evening traffic from Watford to watch that 3-3 draw. What was I thinking?!
Not the worst performance from us but quite close!
