You will likely have noticed that an entire thread, and several posts from a similar thread have been removed.

This site has existed for many years, and over most of that time has got along very nicely without any need for active moderation. Sometimes things get heated, though more often than not it calms down by itself. Much like rugby.

Deleting posts, removing threads, and banning users are all extremely rare, and will not be done without very good reason.

However posting potentially libellous statements, as well as personal attacks against players from any team counts as good reason.

For that reason the admins as a group decided that the recent posts discussing the situation around Kyle Eastmond's red card should be removed, and a user account that seemingly was only created to make unfounded, potentially libellous claims be removed.

I am sure I speak for everyone when I say that I hope this forum continues to have a long life and provides a place for rugby fans to discuss matters related to Wasps. But this will not happen if we allow posts that make damaging statements about players to the point of being potentially actionable.

So carry on as normal, but please don't post stuff you think might end up being read out as evidence in a court.

TLDR: Deleted some posts - all good now.
