This isnít the most entertaining either. Wasps 7-0 Saints at HT. Good pressure by Wasps at the end of the half but was ultimately fruitless.

I watched the RL instead. Pretty good. George Burgess is a unit.

Would you say heís more of a flanker or an inside centre though?

Given the strength of the side we put out, and he fact weíre at home...thatís a really bad result.

On the contrary. Valuable game time for Mcintyre, JCW, Curtis, Neal, Morris and Atkinson plus a few others. That was the object of the exercise.

Were we not Ďcruisingí at 14-0?
What on earth happened. Another poor result.

Sounds like we couldnít finish them when we had the chance, also messing up the scrum and then not defending at the death leads to another defeat.

Letís hope it doesnít start becoming a habit

Shugs, whilst I agree to some extent, the object of the exercise was also to win the game with a mixture of experienced and new players.
Bottom line is we should have won but once again we failed to do so.

Yes, it's always nice to win but it's clear the strategy for these three games is centred around player preparation rather than results. If we'd wanted to progress in the competition we'd have played a different team last week and this. I hope people don't get hung up on the result.

Frustrating result in the end for the boys, especially as they'd been defending well from the sounds of it.

Good that returning players got some game time, but it would have been nicer with a win.

I don't understand why we weren't given a penalty try at the end of the first half. 3 times we were given a penalty on their line. Twice we were in control of the ball and could have dotted down. I've got to say we are going the other way. Our pack looks like it's becoming a real strength whereas I'm sorry to say our options in the backs are really poor. Our second choice options are not good enough. I'd be getting the axe out for next season if I was Dai.

No 8, Hooker or scrumhalf imo.

There can't be many players in the world, at any level, who could be a No8 or a scrum half
