Josh Bassett, Tom Cruse and Thomas Young all return to the Wasps starting line-up as the men in Black and Gold prepare for an all-important Heineken Champions Cup clash with Toulouse at Ricoh Arena on Saturday (kick-off 5.30pm).

Bassett returns on the left wing after being rested while Cruse (ribs) and Young (hamstring and calf) recover from knocks which kept them out of action last weekend.

Bassett is joined by Ross Neal and Springbok Wille Le Roux in the back three while skipper Elliot Daly lines up with Michael Le Bourgeois in the centres. Lima Sopoaga and Craig Hampson form the half-back combination.

Cruse is joined in the front row by Ben Harris and Kieran Brookes while Will Rowlands and Kearnan Myall form the second row partnership.

Young, who has made the most turnovers in the competition this season with seven in two games, partners England pair Brad Shields and Nathan Hughes in the back row.

Ashley Johnson (knee) and Will Stuart (neck) recover from injuries to return to the match day 23.

Wasps Director of Rugby Dai Young said: “We’ve been mentioning all week about how hard it is to get into Europe. You work your socks off for ten months in the league to make sure you’re in the competition and you want to experience these big games.

“It’s a great game to take to the Ricoh. The history and tradition that Toulouse obviously bring to the European competition is there for all to see.

“They are a quality team, their offloading game is second to none and they have big physical players who can get over the gainline, and not only that, but keep the ball moving with offloads.

“We’re going to have to be at our best. It’s a knockout game really as if we don’t win this match, we put ourselves under a huge amount of pressure and it will be very hard to progress.”

Tickets to the match are available by clicking here or calling 02476 786411.

Why would it be uncontested? We have 2 TH 2 LH and 2 HK. I know AJ hasn’t played much at hooker recently but he’s more than qualified.

I'm happy with that team. If we can build on the spirit and green shoots we showed in the first half vs Sarries I will be delighted.

Really good to see the likes of Neal & Porter getting opportunities recently. Can only be good for all in the longer run.

I predict a narrow win, but without looking at the pool I think we will need to deprive them of any losing or try bonus points which may be difficult.

Much, much better than expected. Let's hope some of those guys are actually fit though. If they're fit and firing, we can take this game to Toulouse.

Players are human.. they will read the press.. Daly and his team will all know what's going on so it will be interesting to see the reaction.

If Daly is leaving then I hope he acts like a professional and does his best for the club.. like Guy Thompson did

Have you guys considered he made Daly captain to try and keep him? 13 shirt plus skipper = happier player. The people here want him dropped as skipper because of the assumption he is going. Dai predumably wants to keep him, and knows the way to go....

I wouldn't drop one of the best rated players even if his intentions were clear.
I'd drop him if his form warranted it. I'd expect a professional rugby player to continue to perform for the club paying his wages.

Early season form may have warranted it but I think he has looked decent of late.
What his contract position actually is will be known soon enough.

Let's hope they are all actually fit. Nice to see Daly getting a run of games at 13. Forget training facilities etc I think the reason he could be off is that he doesn't get played in his best position enough - a mistake in my opinion. It's going to be tight. I think we can sneak it if the marginals are truly fit.

Falcons starting with 2 looseheads and one other lh on the bench so no specialist th and a front row replacement short after being denied permission to register another by eprc.

Deano did not look happy before the game but rules are rules and Deano has a bit of history in terms of pushing the boundaries of technicalties when it comes to rules
