I would also add sale at home to that list. They are a completely different team away from the AJ Bell stadium and have a poor record at the Mad Stad

We have lost the ability to try - We are gone anyway --- Sorry
Newc get a draw at Sale we get humiliated

Oh the constant fear of being a LI fan. Wouldn't have it any other way. Actually on reflection I would - I'd have the Powergen cup year, the Armitage fuelled prem final and Euro cup semi years. I'd even take the year Conor scored under the posts at sunbury in last min against Quins to keep us up. It all seems a bit too oppressive these days. Still, I'm kind of looking forward to the Worcester game already smiling smiley

With respect stop living in past so called glories - I too am looking forward to next weekend and hope and pray for a result for us but I dont think this team or coaching staff or backroom staff have the fight in them.I feel sorry for Alex Lewington who is going to have to put a brave face on it for Rugby tonight on Monday

Perhaps I am just being optimistic, but you can't judge the outcome of a season on one game. Newcastle drawing at Sale is an abnormality, not Irish losing comfortably...after all Sale are unbeaten at home this season. Irish won't be the last team to go there and get nothing.

Looking forward, Worcester are going into tomorrow's game having lost their last 10 games. They are not a confident side at the moment. They could easily lose the Exeter game. If we then beat them, they will start to think 'where is our next win coming from'.

The season is far from over

Whatever our differing opinions, i think it's fair to say we've officially entered squeaky bum time!

Agree completely, BUT as a spectator today, its extremely worrying. The promised improvement is, at best sporadic!

Once our chaps have had their holiday in New York and Bob has taken over from Obama everything will be rosy

In fairness this was the situation as soon as we beat Newcastle. I didn't expect us to win at Sale although the defeat was a larger margin than I anticipated. Although there would remain plenty of games after next Sunday it is a massive game for the club and also for Worcester who could get dragged into what is, currently, a 2 way battle for the drop.

Big weekend of rugby ahead so an England and (London) Irish double would be just peachy
