Very well documented good sir,and may i add a few words of praise for Nottingham Rugby who stood up the mid field battering very bravely and quite effectively. As we entered the last quarter they picked up a succession of heavy knocks, but the replacements spurred them on to a fine finish ,full of excellent running rugby.

Why?

Both Fowlie & Marshall were in the right place for a 1st phase backs attack. Fowlie was on Ferg's shoulder sucking in the defense & Marshall was between the 13 & winger in the space that Tom's run created.

If anything, Marshall should have ensured that he took out the final defender as he passed.

Surely because the bounce pass didn't find Fowlie, it found Marshall...

Good write up though cheers

The report and indeed the offie report credited Fowlie with the final pass, it was Marshall.. he could have risked contact but for me the change of line just before the pass and that made the room for Ticks to get in.....

The kind of try I hope we will see more of!

Great report thanks Sam.

Just seen the highlights and Marshall's straightening of the line for the 2nd try, to commit the defender, was lovely.
