Sounds like there is going to be less rotation and we will be picking our strongest available team so I would go with...

Hobbs-Awoyemi
Paice
Franks
De Chaves
Robson
Coman
Cowan
Treviranus

Steele
Marshall
Tiks
Williams
Mulchrone
Ransom
Tonks

Porecki
Court
Hoskins
McNally
Gilsenan
Mckibbin
Lewi!

If all fit and available i'd go with:

Hobbs-Awoyemi
Paice
Franks
De Chaves
Robson
Cowan
Gilsenan
Trev
Steele
Marshall
Ransom
Williams
Mulchrone
Cokanasiga (Lewington if big Joe away)
Bell

Replacements:
Court
Perocki
chatawama
McNally
Northcote-Green
Mckgibben
Brophy-Clews
Tiks

Wouldn't be surprised if Kolomatangi got a run out too.

Big Joe likely to be on U20 duty this weekend. I would be amazed if they threw Lewi in from the start considering the amount of time he's had out. I prefer Tiks at 13 personally but dont think he will play there. Countdown to the playoffs starts now!

Tiks is to much much of a liability in defence at 13 IMO. Mulchrone has to play 13 in the play offs for this reason

Don't forget there are EQP requirements to meet on a monthly basis and we only have 2 games in Feb? Can't remember how many we played against Nottingham?

Bell is injured for 4-6 weeks, so should be back after Carnegie game.

I'd rather be a Paddy then a Quin!!

C'mon the boys in Green!!

Other than trading Hearn out for Narraway to give back row cover on the bench I'd go with that.

Do Championship teams get EQP payments?

I don't think it's EQP as such but

(e) A Club may not in any Match have in the match day 22 at any one time more than two Foreign Players.

"Foreign" does not include EU players and I think kolpak players are excluded too, assume residency also plays a part.

Changing the subject slightly, Lewi's back.

Will be great to have him back, gives him a nice run of games to get match fit before the all important play offs!

Back to the original topic, would love to see mcnally get some gametime as I know he is highly rated by Kendo and I think he could become a very handy player for us.

Same goes for chawatama as We havnt seen him at all yet so will be nice to see what he has to offer. Heard Good reports about him from fans at London Welsh

I'd imagine new faces would get a run out soon if any in the frame for Leeds. B&I game may give a bit of game time to a few as well. If we want them all firing for play offs we need the new layers to have some game time so expect to see them all figure Saturday from bench?

Does this apply to the championship?

But also see this article from 2015 about a 5 year agreemment

With the key quote being

Quote:
with clubs required to field 16 English Qualified Players in their matchday squads.

I think i heard that this is measured in the championship over a shorter period than in the prem where the number can be hit over the course of the season

I would be amazed if we were close to meeting that requirement.

I would start Lewington on the wing and see how he goes to give him mximum game time with Ransom on the bench. Tiks on the other wing, he is not a centre, otherwise same team as we put out against Nottingham with Kolo on the bench to come on say half time to climatise him into our ctual playing team.

Bell is injured for 4-6 weeks, so should be back after Carnegie game.

A post on the club's Facebook page states Bell is the Championship's top points scorer and he should keep them coming on Saturday. I assume this means he's not injured after all and will be in action this weekend.

Pffft. Scratch all that, there's a Twitter follow up from the man himself saying he's still out for a couple of weeks. Who does the club's social media? They should be shot.
