Hits v Tackles

Am I the only person who gets annoyed with the use of the word "hit" to describe a tackle?

There is and has been a problem with tacklers not wrapping the opponent. I know it's something that the authorities are trying to stamp out but I think use of the word "hit" promotes the concept of tackling illegally.

Just looked at LITV and Aseli's perfectly timed, beautifully executed tackle on Tom Arscott is titled "London Irish Hit of the Week".
