Team for Rotherham

Anyone have any predictions for the likely team for Rotherham? I'm going up to the MadStad so hoping for relatively strong side to watch. Are we going to rest big boys for the playoffs or give them a runout?

First team guys should start hopefully, we haven't won in two games so need to put away what is a poor Rotherham side. These are the sorts of games that we need to be winning easily

Should have thought it essential to start building some momentum, Corman surely must start, he hasn't played a game in a while, and would hope to see Bell, even if only for half an hour

Roth are a great team for Irish to play next. They have a huge pack of forwards - Jersey just beat them at home recently and the pack weights that day were:
Jersey 917kg
Roth 915kg
they have a decent defence but they offer very little behind the scrum in attack so your lads should win with something to spare but still get a great workout for your pack. Don't risk Tommy Bell on this one. All the best and thanks for the great banter on Sunday cc

Don't kick it pick it up and GO FORWARD

Cheers Carrot, I suggest we play our full strength pack then and see where we are. Think Coman was struggling with concussion protocols but was hoping to be back out soon

Shirley we can't play our strongest tea. What if they get injured, you know, like they would've done if we played them last week.

I think TRBE has a point we should play our strongest team all season long (even friendlies)

for me the 6 games remaing should be the strongest available side. 2 weeks, a week of and then 4 weeks.

Yes we risk some injuries but we can get them in training.

THis week we need a big win to get the winning momentum back.
Next week we need a win to deliver confidence against one of the potential playoff opponents and then the next 4 speak for themselves

Agreed, injuries can happen anytime, anyhow, but the time has to be now (the next 6 games) to show and prove we have what it takes to get promoted. What happens after that is another thread entirely

Six games...

Let's not get ahead of ourselves, there is a semi final to negotiate first!
