Car Parking at Castle Park,

From the Knights website, so no park and ride as such.

With a super crowd expected and the arrival of Sky Sports onsite parking is expected to be tight. For Sunday only we will be opening the whole of the Woodside Pitch for parking as no more rugby will be played on that pitch this season. The cost of parking is £5 per vehicle and we advise arriving early if you wish to secure a space on site.

Provisions are also in place for two offsite car parks, the first is at Outwood Academy Danum which is located a couple of hundred metres from Castle Park and is clearly signposted from Armthorpe Road.

The second is Armthorpe Academy, situated just one mile from Castle Park, on Mere Lane – Armthorpe, the number 81 & 82 bus services, which run along Armthorpe Road past Castle Park, also pick up and drop off outside the Academy on Mere Lane.

Carnegie fan in absolute peace here. Castle Park is probably the best ground in the Championship, and certainly sells the best Cow Pie and has the longest bar.

I will be watching with great interest on Sky. Good luck and que le meilleur gagne [may the best team win]. But for those attending, and my point in posting, is to warn that anyone parking at the ground can expect a 30 - 60 minute queue to get out of the ground after the match: if you want a fast getaway chose a different option IMHO.

Hope this helps.

Park in the outwood if you can. Much easier to get out.
