Richmond on Saturday

Having failed to make it to Hazelwood for the last two games, a trip to The RAG on Saturday looks to be on the cards.

Having never been to a game in Richmond, where to people recommend for a few pre-game beers? Do people head to the ground or stick around in the high street? The only places I know in Richmond are the steaks in Buenos Aires or the Railway Tavern while killing time for a train.

The Orange Tree across the road from Richmond station is good for a beer or two & convenient for the RAG.

The world famous Sun Inn is probably the closest, and a proper rugby pub it is too!!!!!

Sun Inn as QK said, decent rugby boozer. White Swan across green down by river is good, the Duke off the high street, Red Cow or white horse, both a bit up the hill at the base of The Alberts

They will only let you in if you're wearing lurid pink chinos and docksiders.

Another useful 'watering hole' for Saturday's game is The Triple Crown next door to the RAG & it is possible there might be a few London Welsh supporters/members going to see how Josh McNally is playing, ahead of the Premiership season
