just to add as it may affect some....

M4 Update from Highways England:
Overnight closures from 2100 - 0600:
•13/14/15 October – Full WESTBOUND closures from junction 12 to junction 13

in addition....

Junctions 12 and 13
The M4 east and westbound carriageways between junctions 12 and 13 will be closed for entire weekend periods (9pm Friday through to 5am Monday). The first of these closures is expected to be in late-November 2017.

Junctions 10 and 11
Essential maintenance work is scheduled to take place from mid-October 2017 to March 2018, to replace the waterproofing material and expansion joints of the bridge which carries the M4 motorway over the River Loddon, between Junctions 10 and 11. These works are required as a result of continual defects over the bridge deck, which is creating potholes and cracking.

Confirmed dates will be advertised in advance on signs along the M4, on the Highways England website and via the media. If you’d like to know more about Highways England's work or have any questions, please call 0300 123 5000 or email
