Marland Yarde to Sale Sharks confirmed this morning.

I'd be really interested to know the full story behind his departure from the multi coloured jokers. When he left us he was an England starter and was told by the previous England regime that he needed to be at a top 6 club to kick on.

He, in my opinion has never looked the same player since he joined them and his game does not appear to have developed at all. It will be really interesting to see how he goes under Steve Diamond, and whether he can actually get the best out of him.

It's fairly obvious.

The move from irish turned him into billy big bollocks which never works as an attitude in rugby union. It's a massive shame and it hurts because of how exciting his potential was when he was here.

Diamond will give him a dressing down but that could quite easily knock him down so hard that he'll never get up again.

From bits Iíve read and heard through the grapevine. He had been getting away with behaviour that others wouldnít have. This @#$%& off other players. He had become a disruptive force within the squad. Thereís one more rumour Iím working on getting confirmed, much juicier than the standard statements released.

Ugo confirms the attitude problems...

For some reason he also never seemed to get as much space at Quins to run at defences as he did with us - maybe the more experienced a player gets, the more defences work you out...?

Like many stars who leave Irish, he was involved in so many of our plays in attack and defence. He was a star player for us so we used him all the time. He got a lot of exposure from it. He was so busy that he even became a handful for opposition teams at restarts, he became brilliant at turning them over or claiming them. When these players go to bigger teams, they arenít needed as much because they already have quality across the team. They get less exposure and suddenly they canít underatand why England have dropped them and their stats arent as good. I fear for Lewi as well. He wonít get the amount of ball anywhere else that he gets here. Less ball, less exposure. Symons at wasps (he became dissolusioned here so I donít begrudge him leaving) is a bench warmer most of the time. Now his name is rarely mentioned. When he played with us, even though we were losing, he was still getting praised in the media.

Symons became a regular starter at Wasps, he's been injured this season, hence his slower return.

Oh, good to hear. I thought he was playing due to injuries. Would love to have him back. The pack dynamic would be very different with him. Heís so abrasive.

Sale have two excellent wingers in Solomona and Mcguigan, so Marland may spend a lot of time sat on the bench.

Maybe, maybe not. Yarde is an excellent wing, we saw that when he was with us. Quins game didn't / doesn't suit him as well as ours did. If sale's suits him, which I think it might, then I'd be unsurprised to see him start regularly.

If they can sort out the defensive issues then yarde and solomona out wide is a ridiculous threat.

sigh...would have been great if he'd returned to us... not really likely though.

Robshaw not mincing his words about Yarde's attitude.

Better off without him

Diamond could have his hands full with Yarde and O'Connor to keep an eye on

Yet another great player with a self implode button

Diamond has a good record with 'self imploding players' and they probably come a bit cheaper than regular players.
