On paper they should be all over us but who knows.

Our (Tigers) performances haven't been anything to write home about recently, dent our confidence early on and I wonder whether this squad has the necessary cussedness to pull themselves together.

Got this quote from an interview with Kendo from the Premiership rugby site.

“New signings Arno Botha and Piet van Zyl, who both jetted into London yesterday, have not been named in the squad but will be watching their new teammates from the stand”.

“They only arrived at the club yesterday after a long flight from Johannesburg, so it would be too early to throw them in for the Leicester game,” said Kennedy.

“We’re delighted to have them on board and there will be a bedding in process for them over the next week or so as they get familiar with our calls on the pitch.”

I'd rather be a Paddy then a Quin!!

C'mon the boys in Green!!

Is this the first time we have managed to put out an unchanged starting 15 this season? Hopefully training this week with familiar players has helped and a bit of consistency in selection could help us out?

Tigers should win comfortably at home, but as has been said, we ain't on fire.............yet. Your lads won't lie down so I expect a tough time for part of the game, our quality should be enough but some of them have to show some desire this week.

That's it, let's not be too hasty or rush in to anything, we have all the time and games in the world winking smiley

It's probably a little soon to be adding them into the side, I could have seen them making the bench, but that would have been a push. More than happy for us to get passed this weekend and then get them in for the next 4 games to build game time for the season defining 3 following games.

Jonny May had a shocking game at the Chiefs last week at 15. Let hope we can utilise this “slight” weakness to our advantage.

I was hoping for the bench too, long flight yes but very little in the way of time zone changes

In fairness, having never trained with the team, let alone the impact on the current players by being immediately dropped in, wouldn't appear sensible.

2 weeks training and maybe a half next weekend would be better.

Some might argue the less training the better

There doesn't seem to be that large a playbook to learn either

Don't players have to be registered beforehand to play in the Anglo Welsh and European competitions? In which case we won't see the new players for a few weeks.

This was the case when O'Connor joined us.

Referee is Karl Dickson, who is apparently reffing his 3rd Premiership game. This worries me, as his inexperience at this level may mean he favours what he sees as the stronger team.

He's an ex player though and the game I have seen him officiate I thought he was very good, even for a Quin!

With the amount of school boy errors n our recent performances I’m surprised we haven’t go5 a colouring book on the bench for naughty boy who get a 10 minutes break during the game(s)
