LISC Burns Night

In an attempt to bring in some new events for LISC, this January we will be celebrating our Scottish contingent at London Irish with a Burns Night to be hosted as close as possible to the day on Wednesday 24th January at Hazelwood.

The two-course meal includes Haggis, Neaps and Tatties with Scottish shortbread and Scottish Whiskey Tablet Fudge for dessert.

A number of London Irish players will be attending this event.

Tickets are just £20 for LISC members and £25 for non-members.

Further details of this event can be found on the LISC website.

You can purchase your tickets for this event using the LISC online shop.

Should be a really good night.

4 of us going, even if it is a school night, need to support LISC and the boys who will be there.

Sign up before it's too late

I'm looking forward to it. A great opportunity to have a chat with some our Scottish players.

We also have a vegetarian option available - Moroccan Couscous with char grilled Courgettes

We need to confirm numbers with Hazelwood at the end of the week, so please book your place A.S.A.P.

Well done for adding veggie option, really wanted to come but did not fancy the Haggis. (Sm152)

Still time to get your ticket, especially now you like the veggie option, it's gonna be a craicing night

Thanks LISC for organising it all. I had a great time and the players were super friendly and good entertainment. Extra kudos to Brendan for compering.

Looking forward to the next event!

Disappointed to have to miss this one. Despite having no Scots in me at all love Haggis & a Burns night, especially when winding people up by reading McGonagall poems (Sm14)

Sadly a late work meeting got in the way. Glad the event was a success!

I really enjoyed the evening. The players were on great form and the haggis was good too.

Another nice reminder that we’re members of a club, rather than just followers of a sports team.

Was a really good evening, the food was great, the players were relaxed and told some very funny stories.

Brendan was a great master of ceremony, the Selkirk Grace was read by Scott.

Thanks for all who organised a superb evening and great food
