I see he is leaving London Scottish to join Wasps.

One that got away.

Maybe because we had Johnny Williams to save the day. Now we have neither

Good on him for working hard and getting the opportunity. Hope he goes well.

Releasing him was probably one of the closer decisions the old regime had to make. And probably one they got wrong with hindsight.

See a couple of ex academy lads (Luke Frost and Ollie Adams) signed for Scottish today as well

Rugby needs to make better use of the loan system. There’s no reason not to send lads like that on loans for a season or two to let them develop their game. Holding tackle bags for the senior players every day doesn’t do an awful lot for them.

Will be a challenge for us next season with no A League or British and Irish Cup.

B&I cup is meant to be replaced with a Championship only cup...

We make pretty good use of the loan system tbf. Most of our senior academy spent large parts of this year out with NL1 or Championship clubs. Neal was actually on loan at LS during his last season with us iirc.

This.

Seen him in action at Scottish, and I wondered why on earth we let him go! Must've been because of Williams,J as above.

He certainly did put in a shift, no surprise Wasps snapped him up.

Great shame as I rated him highly, a lovely balanced runner but as previously mentioned was playing second fiddle to Johnny.
A regular starter at Scottish, just a shame we couldn't have kept tabs on him.
