Yep! Great night, nothing really to report back... it was more of a chat night , with a ref giving his angle on topics then the coaches and players giving their side/ version!
Think it comes across how we as supporters feel way way more aggrieved at decisions than players do .
The big under lying thing is the coaches really are trying to let the players “ work things out” for themselves thru the games.. ie not everything is to coached structures. They say we are seeing glimpses of this but really want it honed by xmas!!! ......... all round top evening

Sometimes plans don't work out and you have to start anew.

I really like the ethos of encouraging the players to "work it out for themselves" as at the end of the day they are the ones who have to perform on the pitch not the coaches. If you look at the top teams they go into games with very solid structures and game plans but its their ability to adapt and tweak in game that wins them matches.

Last time we were down we played to very solid structures to great success in the championship, but very limited success in the prem. We were unable to take a step back and try some different in matches. Hopefully honing this new ethos in the champ for a year will bring us greater success in the prem (should we get there).
