I think we were 2nd seed so we should have a home semi.

Ealing were top seeds, so if they beat Pirates it looks like Ealing will host the final.

Fair enough but whats the point of having a final at a ground that can only hold less than 3000 people. It doesnt matter which of Yorkshire or us go through surely more potential for a decent crowd at either stadium ? Would make sense to me to make use of the 2 biggest stadium's in the league ????

A draw takes place?

So this info from Cornish Pirates is incorrect?

Championship Cup Semi-Finalists are;

Ealing
Cornish Pirates
Yorkshire Carnegie
London Irish

The draw will take place next week with the semiís to be played over the weekend of 23rd - 24th Feb.

Wikipedia ( [en.wikipedia.org] ) has us home to Carnegie on 24th. Not sure where they got this from.

Digging a bit further, the Championship site ( [www.championshiprugby.co.uk] ) echoes the comment from Pirates.

Hopefully we will put out a strong team and try and go on and win this competition. You could tell today that there were some guys who were rusty and that goes for both teams with all the handling errors. Reaching a semi in any competition should be taken seriously. And donít start me on the ref.....

Just checking again, and the Final venue is TBC once the finalists are known.

3000? in that case they should look at finding a smaller venue.

Yorkshire at home is very winnable indeed.
