Fingers crossed that there were some one off costs related to Brentford in there making the figures look worse.

Anyone in the know?

It's not too surprising. Turnover is almost certainly down over the last few years and even trimming our squad on initial relegation won't have balanced out the premium we'll have paid to get players on our promotion.

Hopefully these US investor rumours are true and that plus CVC cash and the move to Brentford will help ease our financial position going forward.

Worth noting Saracens were able to write off £48 million in loans as equity and still lost £4m that year.

Remove the costs associated with getting relegated and it doesn’t look quite as bad.
