Sad news, and I know it says OT, but I don't quite understand why this was posted here!

It was posted here because someone cared enough about it to do so. My analogy of a message board is it's like the bar in your local. Lots of conversations going on, some you join in, some you ignore. Some you don't even know why they're there.

I'm not one of the people who believes that a rugby messageboard is for rugby messages only. If enough people want to talk about prog rock (a subject we've covered in the past) or troops in Afghanistan (a subject we've touched on) then let them as far as I'm concerned. Rugby and support of Quins is the commonality that brings us together, but I've never seen why that should dictate that that is ALL we talk about.

Hear hear. A sad day for those who respected her for the sacrifices she made to bring to the light the realities in war zones over the years.

When I made the post I thought there were
Those in our community who would know of her and want to know the news and those who didn't but appreciate knowing. It is a significant event. I hope the Russians and Chinese pay attention.
