Yep, it says that tickets are still available. For a Friday evening game with a fairly good possibility of poor weather. Who'd have thought it...

Our bench is hardly intimidating.

Well done Tim. As Cookie says - stick it in the announcements.

Good spot, Fred - see you tomorrow in the Members Bar...

It would be odd if anyone wasn't going for rugby reasons though.

Wight, Dover, Twickenham - NW backing WSW later, force 3 - 2; calm; fair; good becoming moderate later.
Dry pitch, fanned by strong winds tonight, moderating throughout tomorrow: a hat and cup of ovaltine and you'll be alright, Quinky...

I'd guess that there's a convention that International announcements by the clubs can only be done after the announcement by the National side in question. As both Scotland and our squad announcements were on the same day and around the same side, the club would have deferred to SRU to announce that Visser would be playing at Muddyfield.

Oh come ON...
It's a Friday night game on a 6 nations weekend. The game won't end until 915pm.
Most people who bring kids say they can't go to Friday night games and a lot of people with jobs who don't live near Twickenham also routinely can't may Friday night.
So yes, it says it all, it says it's like every other Friday night game has always been.

I bought tickets last week for the Newcastle game, which is at the end of March. Barely any left, mostly singles. Which also says it all. Particularly in a less than stellar season, against opposition who aren't traditionally a massive draw (though they're playing really well at the moment).
