Does anyone know when the new Crane river walkway from the station is due to be completed (assuming it isn't done already that is)

Where will this run from? Next to the new Berkeley development?

It's supposed to be from just past the water fountain/feature, alongside the M Bar & Grill, isn't it?

Yep. Comes out at the bottom of the footbridge over the railway lines at Marsh Farm Road.

Can't see why they have added big gates where it joins the path by the footbridge. I assume the path will therefore only be open at certain times. This is likely to leading to it being a bit of a white elephant.
