Agree though. 23 man rugby is not great. The golden era in the mid 90s is a distant memory.

From memory he helped get the current deal between the clubs and the union, helped set up the development pathway, and generally did a decent job when he wasn't dealing with anything to do with the senior side.

Details are hazy because I find him insufferable and try and excise this stuff from my brain.
