Clermont are livid about the whole situation.
“Whatever happens on the pitch at Allianz Park this afternoon, this will remain an episode more of amateurism which can sometimes be seen in our sport.
“We were not consulted throughout the day while discussions were going on between the EPCR and Saracens.
“The club have never been invited to the negotiating table and must now adapt to the incompetence of the public authorities and Saracens to organise this major sporting event.”
The rescheduled match was initially due to take place behind closed doors but that was changed this morning.
That once again angered Clermont with the club adding: “In the end, for a few inches of snow, the organisation of this meeting ran into ridicule and absurdity without counting the media underexposure it will suffer from Sunday afternoon to Monday early evening.
“All sports staff and players are deeply affected by the lack of interest in their supporters throughout this weekend and will try to find an additional source of motivation in the upcoming meeting
