Robshaw didn't do or say anything of the sort!

Why do you waste your time with a rag like the Mirror?

I suspect whoever told him was referring to Marler.

Marler is in need of another radical haircut more than shoulder surgery, can't take the two keep getting mixed up!

Totally agree, at the moment I also get very confused with the two of them... which is not something that i would have thought!

Also,

"Chris is playing on Saturday (for Quins against Sale). There's nothing wrong with him at all. He trained yesterday - then did further stuff with James Haskell."

This is something that i had not really appreciated... so CR / other England boys meet up during the season to work on things... even when they are playing for other clubs...

Perhaps The Hask has been advising him on how to get a surrogate father who works as a rugby correspondent in a mainstream newspaper.

I might be wrong but I think Haskell is a client of Margot Wells in Guildford. There's also been talk of Robshaw working on his speed so maybe it's also true of him.

Either way the fact that Robshaw and Haskell do extra training together in their spare time is interesting. Some on here seem to think that any praise of Haskell is incompatible with rating Robshaw.

Robshaw doesn't need more speed. His teleportation cloak ensure he's always magically in the right place at the right time despite being slower than Dan Cole.

And there was me thinking there were two of him... a teleportation cloak is a far more reasonable explanation winking smiley

Robshaw seems to have little problem keeping up with play, as his try at the weekend showed, and the number of times he's hanging off the shoulder of try scorers, running a support line. See also his role in keeping the ball moving for OLH's try against Glaws. If only he could link play like a proper 7...sigh...

However, better acceleration would be a bonus, he is not blessed with explosive pace over the short distances that can really make a difference in rugby (as opposed to the top end footrace stuff over distances that, frankly, aren't really the job of any backrower). If he's training with Margot Wells, kudos to him - look at the difference it made to Mike Brown's game.

He also looks rather ungainly when he runs, which adds to the impression of the casual observer that he can't keep up.
