OK - so here we are on 27 points. Just about doing a skin of our teeth job on sixth place. Above us are Saracens, Wasps, Bath, Exeter and Leicester.

Saracens and Wasps are running away with it at the moment. 2 losses each, we have 5. I think our hope is to overtake Leicester and Exeter and slot in behind Bath.

Now we play Worcester and Sale before the next break. I would suggest we really need a minimum of 8 points off them if we're going to have a hope in hell of top four. Newcastle, Gloucester and Northampton are all within 4 points of us.

I think that's about right, DOK. If I'm honest, I could see us overhauling Tigers but not the Chiefs on current form. However, if we can start winning some away games, the second half of the season could pick up rapidly.

We should really be aiming for 24 points from our next 6 Premiership matches.
