Thank You Nick

A true legend. I genuinely got emotional tonight when he left the pitch.

Without him Quins wouldn't be where they are today. A fantastic player, great team player and from the outside, a great family man.

I fear he's the last of a dying bunch of players but thanks for the memories, a genuine pleasure to have spent the last 10 years watching a maestro at work. In 40 years time I'll still be telling the kids of your skills and vision - a once in a generation player and just a privilege to have had you at our club.

All the best with the retirement and if you ever want a beer, I'm sure there are plenty on this board happy to buy you one.

Ps - why, just when we're all about to move on and write you off, do you put a performance like that in?

It had us all wondering if you have "one more season" left in you?

We all know deep down that you don't and you don't want too and it was all part of the plan to provide a great highlight reel

Great player, he just has that extra time and space (most of the time). The skills that he displayed last night will be hard to replace. Thanks for the memories NEv.

The word Legend is sometimes an over used word.

But in your case Nick it fits like a glove a true inspiration to all our fans, players and management.
Whatever you do once the season is over do with an open mind but safe in the knowledge that you have pleased so many people in your career at Harlequins.

Thank you for all the wonderful memories that you have left us with it was a truly wonderful ride that you helped us go on in all the years that you were with us.

Congratulations on a wonderful career you will live long in our hearts and minds.

Once again THANK YOU very much.

Good luck Snapper. Nice to go out by completely outperforming a highly rated Kiwi 10 winking smiley

Is Nick Evans hanging up his boots after the match at Franklin's Gardens, or just moving on from Quins?

I hope, even if he has been the orchestrator of a drubbing against us, that the FG faithful respect Nev for his time spent in the Premiership and should he be subbed off in the dying minutes, get the applause and respect similar to what was seen at the Stoop last weekend.

He's been a delightful player to watch over the years and a wonderful servant to your club. I'll confess to never having heard of him on his arrival in the Prem, but by crikey we all know about him now he's departing.

Safe travels to all that are coming to Northampton on the weekend. It could be a tasty game!!!

We have been so lucky to have had two great ABs wearing the quarters. To have Andrew Merhtens playing for us was exciting but to have had Nick for 9 years starting when he was in his prime has been fantastic.

The last few games where he has been able to give reign to his natural style has been wonderful for us and him as well.

Thanks very much Nev for all the memories you have given us as a club. It was hard not to have a lump in the throat at the last home game and again on Saturday.
