Only seen a little of Francis in Super Rugby but I think Saints (and England) have got themselves a pretty useful player. Looks clever to me

Outstanding performance by Robshaw. How is he not a Lion? (I know - he's not Welsh) Likewise Brown who's been very creative today.

Browns been bobbins until he wasn't picked

On the upside, Brian Moore raving about how good Collier is.

Yarde rightly being slammed for terrible defence

All the Quins were good with the exception of Yarde who was flaky in defense and got very little ball. Collier has been immense in both matches...could we be losing 3 props to England during AI/6N?!?

Also: Ford was really very good.

Bit harsh on Marland as I think Hartley missed his tackle leaving him exposed and thought Brown should have come across to cover. Marland didn't have a great game but nothing much went down his channel. The scrum became immovable when Will came on, Mullan doing well also. I think they will be with England a lot now. Is that why Bomb has tweeted about being #17 for next season. Two very entertaining tests with the Pumas, you want our defence to improve but then it wouldn't be so exiting.

I don't think that's what he means MW as he says

"Can't wait for pre season number 17 tomorrow!!!"

So I'm guessing it's his 17th pre-season

Yup! That was my take on it.

However Mike Brown has rediscovered his mojo, which is great news.

Sounds like he means 17th as player but could mean that he's involved with.We have Swainston next year for tight head but if both Synk and Will are with England we will need him.

I think everyone's being too harsh on Yarde. The first try was down to Slade defending too narrow and the line not going up together. The second was a very clear overlap. Yarde was trying to call men across and they came too slowly (and Hartley missed his man). You could see his frustration after they scored.

Not always MY's biggest fan, but there's no way you can hang him out to dry for those 2 tries.

I think that wingers quite often get the blame for poor defence but in reality they can be outnumbered or their inside man misses a tackle. Missing the man with the ball or poor positioning are defensive weaknesses. Marland seems to have to deal with overlaps a lot making him look bad.

I like reading other forums to get a different view. As an example, the Bath board seem to think Underhill done well and looked, promising. Newcastle seemed to think he was poor and was lucky to start over Wilson. There is plenty more around different boards. Not really sure what this has to do with this thread tbh but thought I would share!!!

Entertaining game again. Brown's best game in a while. Care has had two good games. Robshaw good, as expected. Collier has been so solid both times he's come on.

I thought both centres were a bit off this week. Obviously not too bad given that we won, but not as good as the week before maybe.

May and Yarde don't really do it for me, just think they're both too inconsistent at the highest level.

Thought Underhill was slightly underwhelming, but again, as with centres, to win both tests away with a very young team is hugely impressive, so any criticisms are minor ones.

Generally a very good performance and very enjoyable to watch

What to do next sesaon at 10? Ford and Farrell? Farrell and Teo? Ford, Farrell and Teo at 13? Interesting dilemma for Eddie Jones. FWIW I would go with Farrell and Teo.

It's a dilemma I'm glad we've got -- becoming a really big fan of Teo.

I think you could start to vary it depending on the opposition.

While Ford has his frailties, there's no arguing that he's a visionary of the game -- and his kicking out of hand and creativity has been great in Arg.

Jones I assume is going to start to integrate the players he thinks will be at their peak in Japan, don't forget that by the time the 6 nations is over it's less than a year and a half until the World Cup.

Other than resting the Lions in the autumn it will be fascinating to see who features...as I say, all these things are great problems to have finally.

Apparently that defensive scrum was timed at 21 seconds.

It is quite something that for a team that's always thought of as "Fancy Dans", our academy has brought through two Lions props, and a third prop that's in contention for a place in the England Squad! Collier was unlucky with injuries a couple of seasons ago, as he was already on the fringes of the EPS only to get injured before touring.

Would you put a Robshaw in each, or save both of them for one team?
