I think it is supposed to be some sort of emoji but unfortunately isn't supported by the forum so displays as a code.

It's bizarre that there are more comments on the new stadium announcer thread than that about an actual game!

Anyone who went care to describe the game? Who scored, played well, played badly, got injured etc? Was JK happy/cross/on his phone?

No idea about the symbols/numbers. I didn't add them or any emojis.

Report on the game in The Rugby Paper today, BTW.

(Followed by no numbers/symbols/emojis)

Bris supporter in peace. It was a very enjoyable day and a fair few Quins supporters.

I think the coaches were looking for different things from the game. Bris had a squad of 36 (all the 1st team/academy squad who were fit I think) and they all made an appearance. Quins made few changes and that consistency told. A deserved win.

Good luck for the season (and look after Ben Glyn)

Walker's try is ridiculous.

We were there and really enjoyed old school rugby out in the rain and sun with no seating. Cleve RFC is the home of Bristol Ladies RFC and has had some investment in facilities although there is no Stand as yet.

Our lineout misfired 3 times being overthrown by Wardy or mistimed by Merrick/Mathews.

Two good interception tries from us and one from them.

Alofa Alofa looks the real deal. Big and quick with good hands.

Lewis made an impact off the bench at the rucks.

We had one great rip out turnover but couldn't see who.

I stood by our bench and could hear comments between Easter, Mapletoft, Rowntree, Evans and JK. Best one from Mapletoft to our winger.." Getting some semblance of a defensive line would be great..." All seemed remarkably calm though.

Nick Evans only coach polite enough to kneel down so as not to obscure crowds view!

My gang really liked the Away shirts and the Training tops.Could be an expensive season!

I went. It was a scrappy game played in 4, 20 minute intervals. Bris changed their complete side after 40 mins. Quins changed 7 I think.

For a pre-season friendly it was enjoyable with moments of good rugby from both sides. It was great to be able to stand pitch side 3 meters from play.
