Can we do away with signatures

Those signatures/messages at the end of some people's posts are annoying. Why have them?

I never see them!

Go to "My control centre/Forum Settings" and towards the bottom there's a tick box "Do not show signatures". Click that.

It is annoying, you read everything and as you read a signature you think....oh I can stop reading this hilarious rubbish!.....I've turned them off.
