Hughes had 2 hands on it at one point, survives the cleanout with one hand, then gets another hand on it. But hey, the problem is obviously the ref, not Robshaw lacking support and the cleanout not doing the job...

This has actually been a pathetic performance so far.

Last week we lost having played well but making silly mistakes at crucial moments.

Today we’re just a shambles.

They genuinely look like a team that hasn’t been coached for months.

Matthews with an idiotic deliberate knock on. Marler one-ups him with some needless foul play at a ruck though. Who was it who was claiming Marler's stopped doing stupid stuff? Reset your timers.

Humiliation complete.

Ref has been poor but i don't think it was the difference between the teams. This entire match has been like the last 30mins vs La Rochelle....Quins in posession, bouncing off a strong defence, butchering every chance with loose passes and knock-ons, getting killed in the breakdown.

I guess this at least means we can play an A-League side for the other euro matches and rest the squad for an assault on Top 4 in the prem. (Half sarcastic, half serious)

I dont think it is a case of something going wrong over the week. This is normal quins. We play well, then we play crap. Its the reason we will not seriously challenge or win anything. No consistency. I'm not surprised in the slightest by the result, same I will not be surprised if we then smash worcs next week.

That's how I feel JG. But I've just stopped getting angry about it the last few games. The issues have been the same for a few years and still the same old issues plague our game. The likelihood of anything changing is minimal with so many at the club having no real obvious desire to rise above the mediocre and some genuinely believing that all is rosy. And that attitude comes from the very top, not JK (who I can't ever say I wanted as DOR) but further up.

I'm not going to go on a long rant about the board etc but having been to a couple of events over the summer I just see naive leadership from the top. Too cosy, too comfortable and too much group think.

Just a swinging arm to the head then.

I actually think the referee on balance probably marginally favoured Quins but that was a bad missed call. Yellow at least.
