Potential team for Worcs game
Stooperman (IP Logged)

With suspensions, injuries and AI call ups, I'm wondering just how thin on the ground our resources are. All contributions welcome, here's my attempt:

Lambert
Elia
Swainston (Collier injured?)
Horwill
Matthews
Glyn
White
Luamanu
Lewis
Smith
Walker
Roberts
Marchant
Visser
Swiel

Holenstein
Piper
McNulty
Merrick
South/Lamb
Mulchrone
Sloane
Alofa

* Assuming Yarde still on the naughty step after no show at Gloucester A league

Am I missing something? England players don't convene until Sunday.

Think we can select England players. Either way, our pack is looking really poor.

I thought they had to be rested this weekend? Shows what I know lol! So Robshaw in for white (to bench), Care on for Lewis (bench) and Brown on for Swiel (bench) South/Lamb out, Mulchrone and Sloan out.

Still looks a very weak bench and a big worry in the front row.

Well, I'd keep Mulchrone over Lewis and have Lamb or White over Glyn

I'd say there's a fair argument for Mulchrone over Lewis, but for some reason Lewis seems to be ahead in the selection criteria at the moment. Not seen enough of Lamb or White to be able to comment, but yeah Glyn's not very good is he? Tries hard, but misses tackles, drops the ball and isn't quite at the races.

Is Adam Jones able to play this season, or is he now "pure" coach?

I think Glyn is getting better with each game. He'll never be in the class of Robshaw (not many are), but he's a good, honest grafter. Some mistakes so far, but improving steadily and gives us an extra lineout option and has made a few turnovers.

I also think Lewis Boyce may get a runout on Saturday, unless he's injured.

Nick Easter was asked about that on Tuesday night , and he said that Adam had been working on fitness and was prepared to be emergency cover if required.

Thanks CQ

With an entire front row banned, my guess is that we're now comfortably into an emergency.

Agreed, and we're gonna get Mullered.

- The only team to lose to both Oirish, Worriers AND The Coach & Horses 2nd XV.

Doomed, we are: DOOMED! (Sm18)

At this rate we'll be getting players on loan from the Coach & Horses 3rd XV!

Have Worcester got a decent pack? If so we are in for a struggle.

Have we heard anything else about Yarde? If he plays it still looks like a fairly potent back-line, but I'm just not sure how we're going to get the ball to them with that pack.

I'm sure glynn is working hard, but he looks like a bench championship lock starting in the back row in the prem. Funny that.

By all accounts he DIDN'T play at Gloucester on Monday. This one might run.

Good news about Chisholm, shame about Smith and Merrick. So....

Lambert
Ellia
Swainston
Horwill
Glynn
Robshaw
Chisholm
Luamanu

Care
Swiel
Walker
Roberts
Marchant
Visser
Brown

Boyce/Holenstien
Piper
Mcnulty
Matthews
Lamb
Lewis
Lang
Alofa

No news about Buchana so possible he could be back, likewise White or South instead of Lamb. Not bad considering. Reading the updates of the a team game it stated Piper was throwing so well he should get down to Ally Pally, sounds promising!!!!
