I'll look forward to the threatening letter from the Times' lawyers, cookie. Seriously, thanks for posting!
Heehee! I'm not sure on the legalities, I must admit and I did think twice about posting it. I guess we might be finding out soon!

Well, if the above articles are correct, JK acted in absolutely the right way. It might have cost us a bit of money, but it will pay dividends with a happier and more disciplined squad in the long term.
Well done JK.

Its anothe rfluff up isn't it? Any way you look at it, this is a monumental cock up for Quins.
If he stays, he'll be demotivated and pretty much an outcast. If he goes, Diamond will have slashed the amount he is paying to buy out the contract.
Smacks of inept transfer dealings...again!

Stooperman, come one - that bit about monumental cock up was something you made up in your own mind with no evidence to support it! Plus I'd assumed you'd read the links that had already been posted before your comment, which made it quite clear that Marland had a track record of missing training.

I really should have known better. You can't even take the mildest of criticism or someone disagreeing with you. It always has to get personal with you.

I've got a season ticket again so happy to have a beer with you at the next home game.

Well he turned up on time for something at last, here's Yarde with a Sale shirt

Wasnt that good anyway. Reading other boards, no-one rates him or wanted him. Think we can get better to replace him. If he reckons Sale is better for his prospects then best of luck. Move on.
Quote:Dibden
I’ve only read a few posts but no one knows why Yarde behaved as he did.IHe was one assumes ok until this season so why the change in his behaviour in the first 2 months of the new season. We can’t really afford to lose a 25yr old international who was let go mid contract but was immediately snapped up by Sale who can see his value and will have heard his side of the story.
JK says he had a great relationship—Given What has happened a failed relationship is more accurate.Nobody comes out of this in credit in my view.We all lose
Quote:For such a senior player to make his thoughts public, combined with the unusually critical tone of Robshaw's comments, reflects the extent of Yarde's fall from grace at Harlequins and it must now be seen whether Jones shares an equally dim view of conduct that was first regarded as problematic at Twickenham Stoop three seasons ago.

Has Joe tweeted about this? He's usually a good barometer, and marvellously blunt.

If the times cared about copy and paste they'd use code to stop it.

That's nice - a professional "thank you" statement, no whinges, no complaints. Good for Marland.

Marland who?

Unless, of course, they understand that it's actually impossible to do that. Yes you can use some silly script or CSS to disable this and that in the browser, but it's laughably easy to get round. Once the content is on your computer no-one can stop you grabbing it if you know where to look.

Good attitude.
Clear out. Move on.

To be honest a lot of club supporters don't rate a lot of other players until they start playing for them...

There is a twenty-mile queue on the Leicester road to Damascus with regards of Jonny May.
