I don’t know Roberts well enough to know whether he’s putting in the effort or not but I think it’s safe to say that for whatever reason he’s not been worth the money we’ve allegedly paid for him.

It’s an iPhone thing.
I think if you post a message on iPhone then the punctuation gets turned into weird symbols.
This is from my iPhone so presumably will also show up with the same issues. It’s a particular issue with apostrophes so this sentence should start crazily.
Oh and I am odd

Using Safari so yes it may be that.

What also annoys me is people who can't use the quote function properly. Again, it makes it not worth bothering with.

What am I doing wrong with the quote function?

I meant the quote function I've just used above - I'm not sure RR is referring to the same thing.
Regarding apostrophes, yours appear as a 3 letter string of gibberish. It's not just you but you're definitely the most obvious on this site.

Perhaps its a keyboards thing? Do Apple allow you more than the standard keyboard?

I googled "apple iphone ’ apostrophe incorrect" and you'll see it's more than just this site!

Looks good! Woo hoo!

Thanks all. Smart punctuation clearly isn't as smart as it claims.

I have smart punctuation enabled and yet I dont have the apostrophe problem (maybe Im an iOS version behind or ahead of you).
Only important thing though is that its fixed for you. All power to the DOK.
Betcha the iPhone is implementing the encoding correctly (according to some ISO standard) and that rugbynetwork sits on a windoze platform that doesnt know what to do with it.
Now, is there any rugby on today .....?

Not as annoying but your apostrophes show up as Black question marks on my screen. All very odd.

This thread is fascinating stuff only punctuated by gibberish.
