If we are still interested it'll be useful to have a look at him in the Premiership.

Not sure if he's on our radar now though after announcing Earle.

I think he's a wee bit better than you're giving him credit for.

Quite. Still, everyone is entitled to their opinion. As a mere armchair fan who am I to question the exaggerated preference

Not sure how you worked out how good I think they are comparatively...Earle is a far better signing for Quins in my view...Cips is a great fly half, for example, but Im glad we didnt sign him.

This was meant as a joke, right? I mean, you can't say you'd take Earle over him a million times and suggest that's in no way comparative.

Yes his great-grandmother married an English prisoner of war when he worked on their farm outside Florence then they lived in Kent in the early 50s before his business interests saw them relocate once again, but the family never lost its affection for the big skies and coastline of the garden county.

Yes it is. Sorry I mean no it's not.

It's just a way of saying you can prefer one thing over another without saying that one thing is better - it's personal preference. Above it was suggested that I didn't rate the Argie because I said Earle was a much better signing for Quins.

That and because I'll never forgive the Argentinians for what they did to my father.....

.....he had 200 quid on them to win the 2014 World Cup final,
