Brilliant, love articles written by people about rugby who haven't been watching any rugby.

Wallace and Ward couldn't turnover a small tortoise at the moment.

"Mercer and Bayliss may be lightweight in comparison to some back-row combinations, but they’re not compared to what Quins are likely to field."

True of all the combinations Quins are likely to field, isn't it ...? Lightweights?

They were both doing it at will a couple of weeks ago - Ward several times against Wasps.

We need to shell out some cash for this player!

If Wasps were fielding a tortoise then we were even worse than I thought

Is this some sort of Schrodinger's tortoise conundrum? There isn't a tortoise so they can't turn it over?

According to the Premiership Rugby site [www.premiershiprugby.com] Dave Ward is joint 2nd (15) for turnovers this season. Doubt it small tortoises though!

Harlequins, (was once) probably the best rugby club in the world!

Well I think we should just be glad Bath will be bringing rugby players and not small tortoises!

There is a tortoise but it is both in the upright and inverted state simultaneously. It is only when the ruck is entered that the state of tortoise can be deduced and which usually results in a penalty being given away.

Problem is he's a bit like Charlie in the 'he scores lots of tries but what about the ones he lets through'. In Wardy's case 'he gets lots of turnovers but concedes lots of penalties in his attempts (5 or 6 v Wasps alone).'

These tortoises are all very well until they go into their shell.
