The highlight for me was the tackle by Mercer tackling Marcus Smith literally inches from the line after Smith had run the length of the field.

yep and a good example of a backrowers endurance over a backs speed. There was similar in the Bath away game with a Bath prop nearly chasing down Ibitoye over 3/4 of the pitch

Actually, I thought if he couldn't get the line then touch was next best thing. Rather than getting stripped of the ball and it hoofed up field, it reset the gain line to a few metres from the try line.

Well ok, he should have come in field a bit. Not much, a few metres.

One thing I don't think has been mentioned enough is how much we owe a big thank you to Tim Visser. Until his interception try, we were up against it and our confidence was brittle. After that try we slowly started to grow in confidence, & I thought our goal line defence in the second half was exceptional.

Get that but it only just about made up for his lack of an attempt to tackle Fotuali'i moments before. He should have smashed him and cut off any chance off an offload.

Fair point, although I think he thought Chisholm would get Fotuali'i, but Faletau used his body very cleverly to block Chisholm as he got the offload away.

Nah I think it was just a plain mistake by Visser. Even if Faletau hadn't made contact with Chisholm, Fotuali'i would still have been Visser's man. Chisholm was never anywhere near him.
