That was strong reffing I thought. I had a feeling he'd only bin one, and couldn't help thinking pretty much any international or top club ref wouldn't have dared bin both. Just speculation, mind you.

I note the French twitter report referred to it as an 'Innovation'

Implying there is some merit in a double clearout even if they got this one badly wrong .. interesting to watch and see if that technique gets developed as part of a counter ruck

To be fair it was a very innovative way of getting two players sin binned.
