Glawster on Saturday

If we pick on form from recent games whoís going to get picked to play?
Or are we just going to go with best available squad, didnít work against Not Nots and didnít work against Globogym
Do we need to change something to get a performance?
Would love to see Seb and Gabs get a start as they have shown some real talent

But I suppose the real question is do we expect any change in performance if we stick with the recent selections

Think Chris is without doubt one of the best players to ever wear the quarters
But getting very bored of hearing we let ourselves down and we trained well this week.
Letís just hope this time itís made a difference

It's a bit like the "something special" thing we always used to slate Sarries for, it seems to have become the clubs "tag" line. Unfortunately it is as meaningless and bears no relation to how the team plays on the day. I'm sure they always work hard in training at Guildford, but it's game day that matters.....

Hope springs eternal. Glaws didn't look that special at Sandy Park.

He spends much longer than that flapping his arms and doing nothing - several rest periods minimum

Maybe one day heíll fly and weíll have a new tactic

All this training reminds me of the quote attributed to Petronius Arbiter

"We trained hardóbut it seemed that every time we were beginning to form up into teams we were reorganized. I was to learn later in life that we tend to meet any new situation by reorganizing, and what a wonderful method it can be for creating the illusion of progress while actually producing confusion, inefficiency, and demoralization."

I wonder if training has actually been our problem this season. If every week you get yet another change handed down to you to learn, do you ever get the chance to just practice and solidify what you were taught last week?
