Any chance of a link or the copy? Hard to tell what to make of it from three words.

Oh dear. The current financials across the board appear unsustainable.

I'm a little bit puzzled. I thought the owner owned Coventry FC, the Stadium and Wasps all together? Surely that should be workable?

If at first you don't succeed, Try, Try and Try again.

I didn’t think Coventry F.C had any cross ownership wth Wasps? They are simply tenants aren’t they? Of course those attendcence figures for Coventry will have an impact. Slipping into the second division couldn’t have helped.

I'm sure I read that Coventry Rugby club and Coventry football club were going to develop and share the rugby clubs ground. Then Wasps would lose their tenant .

Blimey - what was the appeal of the Accrington Stanley game that saw such a peak in attendance?

And I thought they where making a mint from exhibitions, casino, car parking etc
Well whatever you can say about Quins, great facilities on the pitch and at the training centre
And you have to say possibly one of the worst pitches in the premiership
Maybe they spend to much on that annoying drumming band or the PA that goes up to 11

The bit about the bond interest and repayment is interesting. I believe we didn't raise anything like as much as we hoped, and will we be able to repay it? I have no idea, but maybe we'll face the same issue

So thumped at home by 14 men who are coached from a portacabin, train on a ploughed field and eat down the pub !

Sounds a right laugh up there.

I'm sure I read that Coventry Rugby club and Coventry football club were going to develop and share the rugby clubs ground. Then Wasps would lose their tenant .

Cov Rugby Club have publicly said they don't want anything to do with the current owners of Cov FC. Cov FC are tenants at the Ricoh and were due to be homeless next season but Wasps have granted a 1 yr extension due to an ongoing pointless legal battle with Sisu.. who own Cov FC.

Sisu and Cov Council have also been in a long running battle so I can't see Cov council helping out.

The article seems to have been created directly or indirectly by the comments of one player who didn't have his contract extended.. who is struggling to find another EPL club to sign him.

The fact that Launch. Daly, Le Roux, Robson and many more have extended their contracts contradicts the article.

The training facility issue is about to cleared up with a site in south Warwickshire which means Wasps aren't dealing with Cov Council but Warwickshire Council.

The bond issue is a problem but bond holders are receiving a good ROI so will probably go with the flow when those bonds are due to mature.

Wasps statement

Director of rugby Dai Young has issued the following statement:

“I have been made aware of an article published today which makes a number of assertions regarding our current situation.
“The construction of new training facilities is taking longer than originally hoped. We had a couple of projects which reached a pretty advanced stage but unfortunately did not come to fruition along the way, but no-one doubts this is the number one priority project for our development team.
“I know a further location is now under serious consideration and that this project could take a big step forward in the very near future.
“Since September ten of our senior squad have signed new contracts. This includes Joe Launchbury, Elliot Daly and only this week Dan Robson.
“A number of other players have also signed new deals since we moved from Acton to Coventry at the start of last season.
“Clearly we are all looking forward to being in a permanent home, and in the meantime we are all fully focused on the remainder of the season and are pushing hard to reach the play-offs for a third consecutive year.”
