Never a big fan of his but he certainly seems to know where the self destruct button is. Really quite sad.

You might think that, I couldn't possibly comment.

Actually Pete, your immediate supposition is way off the mark. BUT if you feel that way, read it how you like, There are a number of the Principalities players who have self destructed, but if you wish to associate it with anyone else, feel free.

If it walks like a duck etc.

Talented player but no sympathy for him. Perhaps a return to tv would suit him better.

Rubbish.

Ritchie Rees saw it all,and says Henson was restoring a lost puppy to the rightful ownership of its owner, a tearful nun.

That's good enough for me.

why thank you Pete

If you were to ask said subject his nationality - he would not say "British", "European" etc (even if he understood the question) - so kindly get off my back. His nationality is important as Wales and the Welsh system has defined his approach to the game.

Dave why not just say Henson in trouble again - it really does read like a pop at the principality whether you meant it or not. Last comment off your back now.

I think it was something to do with chucking ice cubes around in the aeroplane.

Hardly a hanging offence, although a touch juvenile for a 30-year-old with "form".

IMO it wouldnt have mattered if David had wrote "Henson proves he is a complete @#$%&/knob/dickhead/(delete as appropriate).
There are still some on here who would leap to his(Henson's) defence.

I was rather hoping he had done a Depardieu... you know, weak bladder and all that.

This latest one seems a bit like the Danny Care thing. Probably not serious but once you're in the public eye then you're fair game for all the carp the papers print.

As for comparing him with Eifion, well, I found myself imagining him on a plane.... "there's better peanuts than this in Lllanellli, you know", "You don't know how to land on the left, do you?", "I'm only flying with you because English Airways is rubbish...".

(Sm120)Yet again nationalistics bigotry rears it's ugly head on this board. Sure Henson is serial idiot but the fact he's Welsh has nothing to do with it. We all have our crosses to bear Armitage, Care, Ashy, Tindall, Tuilagi, Clark, Hartley etc etc ..

Unaware of many sad Welshman at the moment, we are still revelling in our latest Slam!(Sm100)

The bloke is a tool. It has no more to do with the Welsh system or his nationality than Danny Care's problems are to Quins and England. If he worked in an office he'd still be an attention seeking dick. His career choice and lifestyle give him the opportunity for greater exposure. Massively overrated.

Over-rated or not - I'd consider signing him at 12 for us next season.. there aren't that many spare 12's around who can also kick

I wonder how many people would have complained/commented if the headline had been another sad Englishman; if the article had been about, say, Cipriani.

Saintaff

FACT
but not because he would have called an English Player an Englishman

It will have been because he would have made an erroneous assertion, called it as gospel and proceeded to use it as a base to quote more rubbish.

Yes it's known as the Tony Benn school of argument by false analogy. I'd prefer a sad Englishman with royal connections to the unfortunate celt.

I doubt it mate. I only reply to Eifs posts if they make sense and I disagree strongly or agree with them. Bit like everyones really.

(BTW is Eif Welsh then ?)
