Having watched the first half, I'm still struggling to see what improvements have been made by O'Shea. It appears to me that he's spent too much time trying to play to the loopholes in the laws and not enough time on basics.

To be fair he doesn't have a lot to work with. Still heavily rely on imports, on balance I would prefer Georgia.

It is Georgia's national sport, Tblisi has probably rugbys most passionate crowd, plus they don't have imported foreigners.

And they're better.

I think O'Shea's amazing idea - to find the rules loop hole and play it in your toughest away fixture, with 2 fixtures to go - was stupid. The last 2 opposing teams had time to train for and expect this. What happens? Italy's attack fizzles out and so does their confidence. The team now looks lost.

I didn't rate O'Shea too much at Quins, with his constant excuses and moans. Playing 'the Quins way' - trying to run the ball from the 22 and losing - didn't do it for me.
