Not much to disagree with there.

Fingers crossed for a positive result.

Thank you for the review. This is a must-win game, Irish have recruited well but still have a significantly weaker squad than us.

With the likes of Ben Franks their scrum should be a challenge. Good lineout operators too.

However we should have an edge at midfield and backrow which makes me feel we will see lots of quick ball

I'd forecast both Luther and Horne make very big yards. Madjeski is a hard track so I'm hoping George North continues to get involved.

Expecting BP win.

Good review.

Think it also shows anyone seems to be able to beat anyone in the Top 6 on there day, and that Home advantage is massive.

Agreed with HLTW, think quick ball will be too much for Irish too eventually cope with.

Looking for a professional performance too get the job done. Any complacency and we could come up short.

Would hope with the like of Dylan, Courts, Horne in the squad standards won't drop now.

spot on
Good read
Excellent review

Just hoping the mental approach is right. After playing two 'names' Bath and Tigers wouldn't want there to be a feeling that intensity can be dropped a little.

Good preview HR and as you point out home advantage seems huge to all the teams thus far. Bit worried about our scrum though in fairness after watching the match back on the Aviva site I reckon Bath got away with more than one 'pulling/running round.

The Irish site seems to be concerned about their injuries to their front row. Hopefully we can get a consistent upper hand in the scrum. We know out lineout is firing well and there have been some positive signs with the maul.

We need Jim and the squad to maintain at least, the same level of intensity as over the last 2 weeks.

With no disrespect to Irish, we need the TBP and a healthy win. This season looks like it could be very tight and I have a feeling that not only bonus points, but points difference and tries scored could become a factor.

Without letting up in defence, we need to be going for the jugular at every opportunity.

Might be the time to rotate Waller though. Perhaps time to give Van Wyk or Ma'afu a start at LH and JFR at TH.

Very good preview thanks. Never underestimate them Oirish! Molly Malone has broken Saintly hearts too often in the past for my liking.

Thank you HR, very good preview.
Big decisions to be made, do you risk making changes to the team with the next home game against Harlequins in mind or do you keep with the same team, barring injuries, that started the Bath game to give the best chance of a win and keep momentum?

Thanks for the preview!
I'd like to see Ford Robson get a start, and if Hartley is back for leadership, Lawes to get a bench spot for a rest. I think now is the game to rotate the squad, and have a real power bench to bring on if needs be.

Excellent review. Going to be a tough game. I'd be well happy with any kind of win.

Much appreciate the review HR, thanks.
I think Jim will make few changes and opt for momentum over rotation, but would like to see Ma'afu start, he looked good last week.

We don't need an advantage at the scrums the way we have been playing only parity, winning our own ball. Equal penalty count is ok.

Would like to see camper and ford Robinson play because the need to be in the mix for selection and we have a much harder challenge next week. I would like to see a risk taken resting Alex w with van w yk on the bench. He is like FR outstanding in open play.

I think the time is right for Waller to get the rest. He's got his record which is highly unlikely to be beaten.

But if our scrum is going to be good for the whole season, every prop needs to have game time and given a chance to show their form and ability.

Having 3 props either side playing regularly can only be good for competition.

Good shouts on the new props, and Ma’afu... maybe bring them from the bench to see how they get on... and hope for some carnage
