How was the band compared to previously complained about half time entertainment?

The only reference I have is one made by Martin Bayfield on the commentary when I think he was getting a little "Interference". It was not wholly complementary.

I was looking forward to hearing the band. I sit in the upper south stand and all I could hear was the base drum and not the brass instruments so I was disappointed.

I think the band played a couple of percussion numbers but the brass which accompanied it was inaudible from the Church's - smart bunch of kids though
