......He's been absolutely tremendous and to go 150 games in the Premiership without missing one is fantastic.....

No it's not. It's just stupid, ignorant selection and something you said yourself would not happen again after the humbling we received at the hands of Leinster all that time ago.

Plus ca change! Mais plus la meme chose.

Shame for Alex, however it may be a blessing in disguise and allow him to come back fresh and invigorated. Will be good for Campese and Francois to get some game time over the coming weeks and show us what they are really capable of.

Also it appears Tom Stephenson has picked up a hamstring problem and Harry M has been suffering from concussion.

Some good news, in that Luther Burrel, Christian Day and David Ribbans should be fit for the weekend, so we will should have a fully functioning, competitive second row unit to help shore up the scrum.

I think every player would want to play every game. It is up to the Coaches / Managers to ensure their time on the pitch is focused and the most productive that it can be.

Probably a case of the players managing the managers.

If as JM says we have good quality cover, why arent they sharing the workload.

Let's hope he recovers swiftly and comes back fresh and hungry. A great saintsman.

We were told Ribbans and Day were fit for last weekend but they weren't selected - best that we wait until Friday (for those who are still interested (Sm122))

Shame for Alex, he deserves to put his feet up and enjoy a few mince pies this Christmas anyway. Good luck for a strong recovery!

People say he deserves a rest and to be irenvigorated but has anyone heard this from Alex? He looked pretty good running down the wing.

Rotation to help other props find form and bring them on yes.

Best wishes Alex.

His one run this whole season? To be honest he needs to go away, add some weight and make more of an impact on th game and then get taken off at 55-60 minutes.

We needs to hit rucks/ tackles and carry a lot harder then he currently does really.

Also it appears Tom Stephenson has picked up a hamstring problem.

Explains why Reinach replaced Harry then

We've been flogging him to bits for years now.

One prop's surprising lack of injury is not an excuse for not finding depth in our front row. Hopefully this forces a rethink in our front row selection.

Could do with a good long look at what we're doing on the tighthead side too.

If we'd subbed him at 55-60 minutes, he wouldn't have been on the pitch at the point he broke his arm....
