Comments on BT sports about an appointment next week

For those of you that were at the game, some comments were made about saints making an announcement next week.
Guessing the were referring to an interim coach to support dickens.
Mike Ford being the obvious name, any other guesses on who else it could be?

Dorian West? Might he turn up to support Dickens?

When I was coming back after a half-time wee, I noticed Dorian having a coaching session with the ball boys - so maybe that's taking up all of his time !?!

One suggestion made by the pundits on BT was to tempt Alex Sanderson away from Saracens.

Just from first impression on tv would prefer Gustard to Sanderson, but as people keep on pointing out, someone to help the forwards would be good, that is definitely the area that is most lacking our defense seemed ok ish yesterday, but our set piece was awful

Think Sanderson would give a bit of dog in all areas. The way things are now if he was in charge the half time dressing room sight would be carnage.

Sanderson always gives the impression of disliking Saints so maybe he'd be just the man to change things. If you can't beat them...

Yep I heard this on the commentary. I didnt know whether to treat it as decent info or merely surmising given a couple of weeks passing since Jim leaving.

Never liked Sanderson as an individual but he would add that nasty edge which we lack at the moment - mind you, are not Sarries up for their eighth straight defeat this afternoon !

I must say Sanderson does irritate me but you have to admit he is pretty darn good.
Sarries are a different animal though, they really work on team bonding in a way that Jim and Dorian, and the club just don't.

you mean they have unlimited cash to spend on team bonding...eg exotic trips etc

It is not just about team building trips it is about attitude and we have too many rotten apples in the barrel. If you have a few players dragging the rest of the team down it is a massive task to build morale.

I seem to remember a certain rotten apple left at the end of last season. Clearly there are a few more
